Decal Application Instructions

Your decal should be applied as soon as possible to prevent application issues. Decals should be applied only to surfaces with temperatures between 50 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit and should be allowed to cure for 24 hours before getting wet. Your decal comes with transfer tape applied to help you easily install it.

Supplies:
Decal
Isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol
Cotton balls
Vinyl applicator or old credit card

Step 1: Clean the Area
Clean the surface where you will apply the decal with rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball. Allow it to dry.

Step 2: Prime the Decal
Use a squeegee or credit card and rub it on the surface of the transfer tape multiple times. This will help reactivate the adhesive on the transfer tape making the decal cling to it better.

Step 3: Remove the Backing Paper Beginning in a corner, slowly and carefully peel off the backing paper perpendicular to the decal. If you notice the decal lifts along with the backing paper, carefully place it back down and repeat Step 3.

Step 4: Apply the Decal
Place one side of the transfer tape onto the surface, and press it down with the vinyl applicator towards the opposite direction. The use of the squeegee or credit card is to ensure no air bubbles will be trapped on your vinyl.

Step 5: Remove the Transfer Tape

Beginning in a corner, slowly peel away the transfer tape at a 45-degree angle.

*If you end up with air bubbles, you may choose to use a tiny pin needle to poke a hole in the center of the air bubbles and push the air out through the hole.
